Most moles are harmless, but some can lead to melanomas (a form of skin cancer). You need to have them evaluated and monitored by a dermatologist. Most insurances won't pay for removal unless there are skin cancer risks, as it can also be considered a cosmetic issue.

It is best to go to your dermatologist. They will screen the removed mole to see if it is cancerous. They can also look at other moles you may be worried out to tell you whether or not it might be serious. If you're like me and you just want to get rid of it because you don't like the look of it, remember that the mole can grow back again. I got one removed because I hated the way it looked and now it has completely grown back. So, that was pretty useless.

Skin moles are generally unsightly growths seen on skin. These can be taken out using surgical procedure, or even through many home cures or products.
Surgical procedure is pricy, charging between $125 to $500 and it can easily cause some surgical marks. Homemade remedies are actually economical and even can certainly get rid of moles within just a few days while not leaving scars.
Home made remedies may inlcude onion, tea tree oil, or maybe baking soda and castor oil applied for a small period of time.
