I just noticed after school I have small red dots the size of freckles under and on my eye lid. I have read that they are broken blood vessels and they are caused by crying and will go away by tomorrow. I have not been though. What is up and will it clear up soon?

I don't think it can be a allergic reaction.

They are called petechiae. These spots are caused by tiny amounts of bleeding under the skin, usually caused by coughing, sneezing, vomiting, and sometimes crying or anything that makes your face turn red. They may take up to a few days to completely disappear.

For the LOVE OF GOD, Girl, you don't have AIDS- What a moron to have said that to you! Attention, you do not get AIDS from drinking and doing handstands- or any other kind of calisthenics either. You get AIDS from unsafe and unprotected sex with someone you don't really know; or blood transfusions or doping... The red dots are from lack of sleep, and the fact that alcohol is a diuretic; and as such will dry out any mucous membranes in your body. Wait a week, (less, if your vision is impaired- but I doubt that's the case)- If they are still there after that point in time, then go see an opthamologist. Pick a decent one- none of those in/out cheap cheap eye shops... Don't listen to the idiots that say you have some stupid social disease from doing handstands, (irregardless of your BAC)! A few slices of cucumbers, my dear- an ice pack or two if they are also swollen- And then an entire 8-9 hours of beauty sleep for the next few nights. And always wear sunglasses when you are outdoors. You can actually 'fry' the albumin in your eyes if you are a sunbather. (This too, also heals itself with time). Rest, and don't worry so much- If, or until, a D.O. tells you you must! Save your stress , and your worry for really important things! Anne (And if anybody asks what is wrong with your eyes, just tell them you have corneal measles)! :)

Are they reddish and some bluish? Do you have any on your neck? Not to be invading or anything, but I saw you answered a question earlier about a dry orgasm, so I assume you're either having sex, or ahem, the other, and the dots can result from that. :)
