I am just getting over a bad case of bronchitis. This morning the phlegm I coughed up was laced with a pretty good amount of blood. I was just wondering if this is normal or if it might be a serious problem.
I don't have insurance so I'd rather not go to the doctor if I don't have to. Any suggestions?

Ok, stupid question and kind of gross. I've had a the feeling of needing to clear my sinus for the last month, my doctor says its a sinus infection, nothing comes out if if i take meds. I also feel pressure in my head. I'm worried that its something more. Has anyone else had this problem. And will it eventurally go away. I sometime think I make it worse by worring about it.

I have a horrible cough from chronic bronchitis (COPD); to date, no one has been able to stop it. Is there any help out there to rid me of this cough.

My fiance has asthma, but i've never seen her have an attack, so i didnt think it was that bad. but last night while in bed, she started having trouble breathing and afterwards, her lungs felt like someone was crushing them. ive never been around someone with asthma so i want to know what i can do to help alleviate her attacks.

it hurt to see her in pain, and since we're getting married soon, i want to be there for her.

also, we're very much in love and i want her to know that i'm not going to leave her b/c of her illness. (she's had b/fs break up with her since she had asthma). i told her last night, that i would never leave her, but i want to say the right thing that leaves her knowing that i'm marrying her and accept her for who she is, including her asthma. (does that make sense to you?) any words of wisdom?

please help! i care very much for this woman!

I asked the question about symtons of black mold, I neglected to mention, that the symptons only seemed to be present when I am at work, and not at home, I work in a nursing home, when it rains the ceiling leaks and in some instances the wall paper bulges, is it possible that this may be the source of all the symptons I have?

I've woken up the past 2 mornings coughing up blood. Its never happened before but I am not coughing up huge amounts. Should I be concerned, or could I have just had a bloody nose in the middle of the night and it had just run back and I had to get it up. I have been coughing deep(sounds like croope) for about 2 weeks. I am a young adult who is in recovery from an E.D. (ana).

For the past few weeks I've had a bad cough (I just recovered from the flu) and I though about going to the hospital because my neck felt tender and my upper back felt sore. She told me to wait two days, and then we'd go if I was still having pain in the same area.

I had difficulty falling asleep last night, my stomach has been hurting all day, I've been having sharp pains below my ribs (right side, same side as the back pain) and I cough so hard my head hurts because it feels like my brain is bouncing around in my skull. ]:

I also can't seem to burp because everytime I do I nearly throw up.
And lastly, when I breathe in it's either all rattle-sounding because of the mucus in my throat or is sounds like wheezing or something, and it makes my throat itchy when I take deep breaths.

Please help.. Thank you.

because the patient is incubated by needs of a trach tube via mouth nose neck so thats why there is a opening of the air way to breathe for them to make them breathe if they are unable to breathe

I went in for a neck fusion operation and due to complications ended up with ARDS Acute respiratory distress syndrome. For 2 weeks it was touch and go if I would survive. Now its 3 years later and I am much better but still have shortness of breath as my lungs still have not fully recovered.
I don't feel that my mind is as sharp as it was before the hospital stay. I can't solve problems as easily or concentrate/focus as well. My question is whether this could be due to brain damage due to lack of oxygen when my lungs shut down (pulse OX was down to 45 for a short time at the start), or if it may be from the drug over load of being put in a drug induced coma for 3 weeks... or could it for some other reason resulting from the problem. I just want to know what caused the slower brain function.
Any insight from professionals would be helpful to my psyche.
Thanks,
Franckie

Should I go to the doctor?

It is hard for him to breathe and he has to constantly keep on the nose strips when he is at home. He had an operation two years ago to remedy this, but it has re-occurred and he is miserable. He now is experiencing a very stiff neck up into the back lower portion of his head. Is this from his sinuses or is there a such thing as arthritis in the neck area? I wonder if he should go to an orthopedic specialist after a good ear, nose, and throat specialist?
