Is a leaking ceiling and wet wall paper the resut of black mold symtons?

I asked the question about symtons of black mold, I neglected to mention, that the symptons only seemed to be present when I am at work, and not at home, I work in a nursing home, when it rains the ceiling leaks and in some instances the wall paper bulges, is it possible that this may be the source of all the symptons I have?

as to a professional opinion on black mold symptoms, you would need to have the paper checked, otherwise sooner or later a wet ceiling left untouched will definitely develop mold, especially hidden under wall paper. An evident sign of mold is a brown water mark around where the leak is in the roof, that shows water stain, left untreated will turn to mold. Once again, will need professionally checked though. It will definitely make u sick and I've seen on t.v. about a little boy dying from mold. What's about the residents in the nursing home for goodness sake? U need to report this to DSS or someone over nursing homes in ur state. Not only u but many others are in medical dangers

Yes, wet ceilings and wall paper will cause black mold. And you could be allergic to mold.
I know I am especially when the wet leaves are decomposing in the fall and in the spring.

I bet if your looked at the timbers above the ceiling. you will find black mold


That should fail a state inspection and close the place down

yes...if you work at a nursing home that has a leaky ceiling and water damage please do the following things: report it to your supervisor and if he/she does nothing then: report it to proper authorities and find a new job...mold will make you SICK
