I smoke ciggerets but I never inhale I always exhale it out...when I do inhale it tends to hurt what can I do so that when I do inhale it dosnt hurt?? please don't say I shouldn't smoke cause I already know that but either way I am going to...thanks!!

I would see your practice nurse for breathing tests (spirometry) - what you describe could be triggered by a chest problem eg asthma, bronchitis. It is very hard to judge without knowing age, smoking history.

As for not inhaling - perhaps you dont inhale as deeply as some smokers but it is impossible almost to smoke without inhaling at all. You would not be addicted and want to continue smoking if you had not inhaled as you would get no effect from a cigarette.
