It's not unusual to run a below normal temperature. Doesn't mean anything normally.
The sore throat could be from the drainage down your throat and the cough could be also.
Try some over the counter decongestants like Advil cold and sinus, Aleve cold and sinus, Robitussin, DayQuil or NightQuil and sore throat relief medication for a couple days. Take some ibuprofen for aches and pain if you don't take the advil or aleve.

If you aren't better in a couple days, see a doctor.

your temperature is normal. but as far as the other symptoms you should see a doc. for treatment.
Also,if it is streptococcus that you have, you may want to start drinking spring water from a store or something for a while. My son a few years back had strep for 6 months, we couldn't get rid of it. The Doc; was ready to take his tonsils out because they were so inflamed. I had heard a story just before this about the strep virus possible being in the water we drank. So I did my own little test to see if that was correct information or not. I took my son off of the city water and cooked all his meals with Spring Water for 2 weeks, then I took him to the doc. and his first test ever since he got the stuff, was neg.
So to test the water, I gave him back the city water, and I had to take him in again for a test. Guess what?
It was positive. I took him off the water after that, for 6 months or so, and he didn't get it back for years.

Take some over the counter meds. Also drink some hot liquids. Like tea with lemon and honey. Drink herbal or green tea, they work so much better when have something hot going down your trorth then cold. Whenever I have a cold and feel like my voice is gone or coughing ususally drink tea with honey, not sugar.

Then in a few days if still not better, see a doctor, it could be something else.

See a doctor if you start getting chills or a fever. 97.4 is cold. 98.6 is normal. There are a lot of things you can have that don't give you fever. It's best to see a doctor if you don't feel better in a couple of days.
