because the patient is incubated by needs of a trach tube via mouth nose neck so thats why there is a opening of the air way to breathe for them to make them breathe if they are unable to breathe

The endotrachealtube (ETT) is in fact an artificial airway that is used when a patient does not have a patent airway. Most of the time a mechanical ventilator is connected to the ETT to provide oxygenation/ventilation. But i am confused about what your question actually is.

they need it to breathe, if thats your question, I was unsure. But there are a couple different types of breathing machines and techniques to help people who cant breath on their own.
