can a homecare provider take you a bath or shower? If you cant take it yourself? I cant get up the bed alone. I need help. Iam 27 year old male.

Home care attendants are able to assist you with all the needs that you require.They also can assist you in finding the proper equipment needed if you are unable to stand and transfer by self.

yes, my brother has been in a wheelchair for 20 yrs after he broke his neck when he was 19. He has home health aids who come in in the AM, give him a shower, dress him, and get him into his chair. They are a Godsend!! I would suggest that you ask your Dr. to refer you to a Home Health care agency or perhaps the VNA in your community. I really hope that you can get some help. if you are disabled and you have a care provider i would say yes if you are getting deprived getting clean you are being abused.unless you a perv and asking for other things- that has to be said no offense meant

Yes they can. If you cannot stand then they will help you...Either that or a close friend who wouldn't mind.
