I was prescribed Singulair 10 Milligram tablets today and I have no idea what to expect. I have previously been on Advair and had no luck with that, it didn't provide any noticable help for me, and Dr. took me off of it. I have been prescribed Singulair, and Xopenex for my nebulizer, I was previously nebulizing Albuterol. I am still prescribed Albuterol inhaler. Please let me know if you have had success with th Singulair and any information on Xopenex would be great also. I HATE ASTHMA, and cannot wait for it to be under control. I had adult onset asthma at 19 years old. I am in my 30's now. Thanks so much for your help.

i think i have bronchitis it started 3 days ago. It wasnt so bad to brgin with except for the uncomfortable cough but that lasted only a day but then i woke up this morning and i was wheezing like crazy i havent been able to catch my breath all day, how long is this gonna last? ive been taking mucinex but i heard you have to drink alot of water for it to even have an effect? and im a smoker but im quitting thanks to this little bronchitis thing i cant breathe and smoking is just out of the question so im just gonna quit. but is it worse beause of being a smoker and when is it gonna go away or at least ease up? cause working in construction is not the easiest thing to do when you cant breathe and your lungs are wheezing! anybody no when this crap will stop?

My 2 year old has had snot running out of his nose for about a 6 weeks now. It came on at the middle of Dec. and went away so I didn't take him to Dr. Snot ran clear but kept running for about a week and then turned green again. Since then some days it is clear and some days it is green. He has NO other symptoms at all. No fever, nothing else. Will a virus also cause green snot or is it only green if there is bacteria? It has been for a long time so I began thinking it is an allergy. He is completely fine otherwise. Except for his sinuses. If he were suffering or had developed a fever or anything else, I would have been straight to the doctor but this has been coming and going without completely clearing up so we are going to the doctor tomorrow. I just wondered if anyone has any ideas or has experienced with their child.

My husband (age 55) has been using a CPAP for two years because of severe sleep apnea. His doctor has told him that he could have surgery but that he cannot guarantee the results. I would be interested in hearing from others who have had this done and what kind of results you got from the surgery and would you do it again, or stay with the infernal machine.

I have asthma. Iv'e seen the doc who told me to use blue, brown and green inhalers. Cough is driving me mad and i nearly passed out in morrisons. Doc said i wasn't getting enough oxygen. Gave me more antibiotics and a 'spacer' to use with my inhalers. Still feel giddy sometimes and have another appointment on friday. Is there any way to help myself?

I've had a bad cold about 2 weeks ago, the only symptom left is that my ear is so clogged still. I thought it was wax build up, I did everything for that, it wasn't the problem. No decongestant is helping. How long will this take to go away??

Do inhalers, Specifically made for Athsma affect your immune system?

Ever since I've been diagnosed, I've been getting sick, really easy, when I used to be strong.

Is my inhaler doing this to my body, or is my body just weakening?
