During an attack yes! The lack of oxygen and the stress on the respiratory system would definitely cause this. If you are looking pale and its just acting up you need to use your inhaler regularly, identify the triggers and see your doctor. Good luck

Curious,
When one is having an asthma attack, they are not getting the oxygen they need because their bronchioles are constricting. This does indeed change their color. Good observation!

Yes due to lack of oxygen. They need to rest and get checked out and look for thier nail beds or face turning blue.

yes its because they are not able to get as much oxygen to the lungs as is necessary. its not a nice experience, so if you no someone that this is happening to then just make them relax and try to breath deeply or if it is during an attack ten make them use their inhaler.

Yes, because they aren't getting as much oxygen to their tissues. Their nail beds might look a bit bluish as well.

My husband does when he has a bad attack. We usually wind up at the hospital and he gets a treatment from them.
