Steam over a kettle with a towel over your head .
An electric kettle and a beach blanket are good .
at 102 degrees viruses stop multiplying and at 104 they die.
do it for about ten minutes four times a day do not burn yourself.
You may want to use some over the counter nasal spray four times a day to drain the sinuses.
Saline nasal washes are good.
1/4 tsp. salt and 1/4 tsp baking soda in 8 oz. warm water.
Use a syringe to squirt it up your nose . It will come out your mouth and you spit it in the sink.
If you have fever or marked tenderness of your sinuses you will probably need an antibiotic.

I have one too that has lasted for weeks even with a shot and a round of antibiotics and Zyrtec. I have some Grapefruit Seed Extract that has helped in the past. It is very bitter, you put 15 or 20 drops in a shot of juice and drink it 3 or 4 times a day. It really worked before, and I think I will start it again today. You get this stuff at the Health Food store.

You should get an antibiotic.
Other than that, eat a lot of vitamin C rich fruits, if you're not a vegetarian, eat liver, drink a LOT of water, etc.
For the sinus congestion, boil onions, and sit with a towel draped over your head, leaning over it and breathing it in, for 10-15 minutes every few hours.

No a sinus infection is caused by bacteria and left untreated it can lead to severe problems that can require surgery or long term antibiotics need. Get it treated now before it causes more problems.

Once you have an infection you'll need an antibiotic. My advice would be to see a medical Dr. Sorry Sometimes we just have to rely on the medical field for help. Although I do use natural means if at all possible, I do hot however rule medical help out all together.

My favorites are.
1. Spot magnets. very small. You get them from the Pharmacy and come with elastoplast (size of a small round band aid.) They come in strengths 10@1000 . 7@ 2000 . You place them on your temples. and cheek bone and middle of your forehead leave them 24/7 .Only draw back is you look odd mixing in company. They work quickly, within 30mins, so no need to keep on. Unless you like looking odd ,he! he!
2/ a Warm pack. or soak a face cloth with warm water ,wring out , place in a zip lock bag., Leave it open in Microwave. let it heat up for 20sec.on med. Then close bag and place in a dish towel. Place over the swollen painful area, usually your eye and cheeks. This eases the pain and allows the mucous to flow and become unblocked in your Sinuses. Deep Heat or a warm rub helps too.Just rub over that area,

The only thing I can think of is to take a hot shower or breathe in steam. It will open your sinuses up
