i have a runny nose, stuffy ears, sore throat and extreme dry cough that hurts my lungs like nothing i have ever have experienced before. what is it, what should i take? should i just break down and go to the doctors?

It sounds as though you may have bronchitis, pneumonia or walking pneumonia. You need to go to your doctor. If your lungs are hurting you will probably need a chest x-ray.

Sounds like a possible sinus infection. The drainage could be what's making you cough and making your throat hurt. Because you are coughing so much and producing nothing, you have probably briused your muscles up around your lungs, thus making them hurt. But, get a valid 2nd opinion and see your doctor. He will probably prescribe a cough suppressant for you. Hope you feel better.

Break down and go to the doctor if your lungs hurt it may be something more serious than a cold.

Hi..
I think it is better to visit a doctor .. but i will give you some ideas:
1- heat 5 spoons of a nature Honey then add 3 spoons of lemon .. drink it once aday.. its good for the resperatory system..
2- try to use some anti biotics ..
3- drink alot of orange juice and vitamine C..
4- genger is so good for the immunity.

it's simple u have common cold .
Common cold = Running nose = post nasal drip = dry cough
cold = sore throat = eustachian tube dysfunction = stuff ears

E.tube connects ur oral cavity to ur ear

all u need is to wait for sometime ... or u can take plenty of fluids a oral anti-histaminic with a nasal spray (ask pharmacy).... will give u a pretty good relief .

Sounds like the flu but it is best to see a doctor just in case it is something else that needs an antibiotic.

If the cough is causing severe lung pain go to the doc.

Yep sounds bad to me sounds like bronchitis go to the Dr's and get a shot in the butt and some antibiotics that will help you feel better.
