What can cause mood swings besides bipolar disorder, adrenal disorders, and B12 deficiency?

How do you tell them apart? Like how do you tell the mood swings from Bipolar disorder apart from mood swings related to adrenal disorders?

I heard that acid reflux and stomach upset can trigger the vagus nerve, causing what feels like heart spasms/flutters or PAC's. I experience these quite a lot, sometimes in runs for hours and days. Usually when I have the flutters it feels like it is triggered after a big meal, and feel like I have a lot of gas and need to burp a lot. Sometimes they happen when my stomach muscles are tense or are puttng pressure on my chest, maybe due to eating a large meal (not necessarily due to anxiety or stress, in fact, it usually happens when I am quite relaxed). Since hearing about this possible connection, I've tried taking antacids and anti-gas medications, but it hasn't worked. Has anyone experience these, and is there anything else I can try to relieve/prevent them?

I'm starting to worry. He's been to a couple of doctors. His bloodwork is normal (a couple hormones were officially low at the start of this but they put him on drugs to get them back into the normal range and nothing changed) - sugars normal, kidney and liver function look fine. Iron is okay. Sleep is fine; they even stuck little electrodes to his head to make sure. He doesn't think he's depressed. They scanned his brain to make sure there were no tumors squishing things. A doctor even gave him some drugs that are normally for people with ADD to perk him up in the morning, but that did nothing at all. We're running out of ideas. What haven't we thought of?

I have had abdominal pain since I was 13, and I am now about to be 20. When i was 13, the doctors said the pain was due to ovarian cysts, and I was put on birth control. After they said they were gone, I quit going to the doctor until I was 18, but was always sensitive on my right lower side (even with kidney but in front not back). Well, I went back at 18, had to get a laparoscopy and was diagnosed with endometriosis. Pain went away for 2 months, then came back worse. I have been unable to take bc's since (mood issues). But have been assure my more then 1 doc that endometriosis is not the cause anymore. I have been in and out of the ER on morphine, the first few "diagnosis" was kidney infection/bladder infection..then I started having GI problems as well. After going to a GI doc, they wanted to do a colonoscopy, but I couldn't hold down the prep kit, and I haven't gone back yet. They put me on methscopolamine bromide (sp) and everything seemed good...

My daughter is 8 yrs old and weve battled a vision problem for four years. We have seen several optometrists, and all of them has had a different opinion on her vision.. (muscular, astigmatism, etc..) Weve done the patch, she's worn glasses etc...
Nothing seemed to help. In fact her vision has worsened.a. She was able to see periphial (sp?) but just in the last year she has complained of complete loss of vision..
My husband's coworker and friend recommended a reputable optometrist and so we made the appt. and he referred my daughter to an Opthamologist. The opthamologist was astounded to the fact that my daughter never was referred to get an MRI done for ruling out any tumor compressing her optic nerve..
We had the MRI done at the hospital here in our area, and the report stated that 2 large cysts were causing mass compression (pineal, and arachnoid). Was then referred to Neurologist, same thing was stated,, and referred to Neuro-surgeon but he said she just had chiari malformation
