bumps on my arm?

the last 2 years at the beginning of summer when i first really get into the sun i get bumps on my arm, they itch a little but nothing else.
what could they be?
heat rash?

Not heat rash. Heat rash is a rash caused by being too warm and usually occurs where skin touches skin (like thighs). It may be sun rash. Some people are actually allergic to sunlight but it's not terribly common. My Mom is and she gets a terrible itchy rash. Ask the doc about it. He can give you an allergy test to be sure.
