I was given Zoloft for my anxiety. I was given 50mg but I have been taking it for 4 days now and she said I could break them in half. But now I regret taking them I feel like I can get better on my own.My gut feeling is telling me to stop taking them. Should I follow my gut feeling or just keep taking them.I plan on going to the doctor this week to see if I can stop taking them.

Has anyone else cured their anxiety or depreesion on their own?

I'm forty-seven. All my life I've had a normal temperature of 98.6 unless it was elevated due to illness. But for the past two years, my 'normal' temp's been between 97.4 to 97.8 all the time. I was diagnosed recently with chronic fatigue sydrome after a group of other symptoms for which everything else was eliminated. So I'm wondering if low body temperature is a feature of CFS.

my little boy is 6 years old and has adhd i dont like the way his meds make him act. we have tryed adderal, focalin, metadate, and now daytrana it helps for a few weeks and then seems not to affect him any more. is there anything other than meds that i can try. random people have told me that all he needs is an old fashion beating but really whats that going to accomplish other than child abuse. i have started him in behavior management classes but we have only had one appointment so far so i dont quite know if its helping yet. please if anyone can help, i am soooo stressed out. i have 2 other children and one on the way.their ages are 6,4,and the baby is 14 months

I have had a ltter saying that as my daughter is not considered to be at risk she will not get it when older
TB is on the increase and so is drug resistant TB
In the future they will come into contact with someone infected with TB , I have as I am a nurse
will we have an epidemic in the future
Is it because so many people who are at risk cost , and those not considered at risk must take their chance
could I pay to have it done privatley when the time comes ?

LIke what are my chances of dying... because I'm really scared... But I've seen on sites it says people who've had a lot of shunt revisions.. the only thing I've ever had done was surgery to make the shunt longer when I was little... PLEASE help me.

I was wondering if anyone knew of anyone with hydrocephalus who has had their head surgically reshaped so that it wouldn't be so abnormally large in appearance, and did insurance cover any of it, or was it considered cosmetic surgery?

Took her to the doc today. Stated she didn't know if it was a blocked saliva gland or a lymph node. So the doc did what they all do, slap em with antibiotics.
Just found out her cousin had the same symptoms at the same age. They took her to the Cleveland clinic and they missed Leukemia. She died at age 12.

I think we are going to try to get a second opinion around here somewhere although all the offices seem to be owned by the same mega hospital system doc in a box type of place.

Is there anything I can look for on the net or should be watching for? Her whole side of under her ear and upper cheek is swallon and painful.

Very worried..

I've had pain and burning in my thighs severe enough to go on long term disability from my job. (I stand 10 hrs a day there, and standing makes it worse) I had an MRI which said I had congenital lumbar spinal stenosis and arthritis in my spine. I was sent to an ortho-surgeon. The ortho dismissed the stenosis since i'm relatively young - in my 30's - before even looking at the mri. After looking at it, he back-pedaled a bit, but still stood his ground saying it wasn't bad enough to cause that much pain. He ordered an EMG, which came back normal since the lateral cutaneous nerve, the problem nerve, isn't checked in the test. The doc who did the EMG said it was likely meralgia parasthetica in the report.
When I went back to the ortho for the follow-up, he spent all of 2 minutes with me and said he was referring me to a physiatrist since meralgia was a MUSCLE problem!
Should I trust him or get a second opinion on the stenosis? Can stenosis cause the meralgia?

My mom had an endoscopy and was diagnosed with H. pylori bacteria. She doesnt have an Ulcer, just the bacteria, they prescribed her antibiotics. her symptoms were Nausea and Dizziness that got better with taking an anti anxiety medicine. She was like that for 2 1/2 weeks. Do you think the H. Pylori caused the Nausea, or do you think it was just anxiety and stress. She has been really depressed and weepy lately, and before this happened, she was very stressed and anxious. So it might be that?
