Alright, so I'll be reading something and as I'm reading a word might appear to be another word and I have to re-read it several times before it appears right. Also I might be staring at something ex. a spot on the floor, and it will appear to be moving. Also I have random moments where my head will shake side to side for like a milisecond. I also get tremers in my fingers. Could this be a neurological problema and do you think it could be serious

My 2 year old became sick last night. She was running a fever of about 104 degrees. We gave her Children's Tylenol around 1:30 am but it only brought down the fever one degree. This morning when we tried to give her another dosage, she suddenly vomited. Pretty much everything she ate yesterday came out. But after vomiting she seemed slightly better, less fussier and was willing to take a lukewarm bath. After the bath, she slept for 4 hours. We gave her more Tylenol. About 2 hours ago, her temperature finally came down to 100 and she acts more happy. So what could've caused her fever? She showed no signs of having a cold; just a fever and the vomiting episode this morning and some diarrhea. Yesterday the only time she went out was around 6:30 pm to a nearby park with her dad but she didn't have contact with anybody there. Her dad is fine. Could it be from heat (we live in Phoenix) or food poisoning?

Here is what I have:
Nonsense/racing thoughts

blurred vision
headaches/aches in skull
throbbing head
muscle jerking/twitching esp when trying to rest
nausea
Sometimes I can't find the right word to say or I say a word that I don't mean
I'm realllyy scared!!! Can someone tell me if this happens with anxiety?!?!

I have a son who just turned 1 this month and is due for his 1 year check-up soon. He's due for 6 vaccines on his next visit including MMR and I am very concerned about hearing all kinds of things about MMR in combination with other vaccines might cause autism. I know there hasn't been any official proof of any link between vaccines/MMR and autism, but we cannot deny that it happened to a lot of children. And I cannot help but be scared for my child. I am still going to vaccinate him, but will not allow the 6 vaccines to be given at the same time. Will ask the doctor to space them out, and will forgo MMR until he's over 2 years. I ask this question so I have an idea of how many out there has witnessed someone, a child who started out normally, but became autistic after receiving the MMR vaccine in combination with other vaccines. I know one, and he is my 2 year old nephew.

I am a 20 year old female, (110lbs, 5'7) healthy otherwise. I sometimes experience shortness of breath. It seems that i cannot breathe deep enough to feel ok. I get kinda numb, not enough to stop me from doing things, but talking becomes a little difficult as I get winded. I do not have medical insurance so I can't go in as I do not have that kind of money. It happens alot at night too. someone suggested maybe im so thin my spine crushes my lungs, but this is not true since i dont always lay on my stomach. Anyone know what it could be and what I can do about it from home? Any advice is appreciated!

Last December I underwent a cystoctomy.
Since then I have suffered extremely painful bowel movements, resulting from severe constipation and ensuing fissures. I am much 'easier' now but never completely free of anal pains. I had assumed that this was hemorrhoidal brought about by the straining. Now I am beginning to wonder if it isn't some sort of food allergy. Some days the sphinctre is tender and swollen.............and very painful to pass motions. yet on other days the swelling subsides and the pain far less.
Has anyone else sufferd this problem and can give me an answer as to the cause/cure?

Or, is there anyone with personal experience of retinal cysts? Friend of mine has retinal cysts, many in the left eye, 1 or 2 in the right eye. Yes, he's lived in various countries in Africa so parasites are potentially to blame. But, if so, which ones? Is there anything other than parasites that it could be? Cited articles preferred – thanks.

Hi - My father-in-law has an appointment at his GP's tomorrow to get results of tests, apparently they have been on going for sometime but we have only just been told. He has been told that the results are rare and has been advised to bring a close relative along. In your opinion, is this a usual thing to tell a patient? It all seems very dramatic and has caused dad-in-law some obvious concern. Many thanks. x

I'm 16. My dad's overweight. But it runs with everyone in my family, this sleepless thing. I don't know what it's called. It's where you literally stop breathing like once every minute when you sleep and even my relatives who are thin and in shape in all other areas have this! When my dad goes to sleep, I feel like I'm about to have a panic attack! But my dad's working on contract and they renew it every 3 to 5 months, so he doesn't get full time benefits. They're using him! He's working as an Accountant 3 [Highest accounting position] and they're being cheapskates by not hiring him with full benefits! Anyway, so we spend an enormous amount on insurance and my dad puts my insurance before his. Also, most men on my dad's side have back problems, even the ones that aren't fat! And my dad's doc. keeps telling him it's because he's overweight! My dad has had this and he hasn't always been overweight and now, he can't stand up in one place for more than 20 or 30 minutes. UGH!

When I mean natural, I mean a way to cure it without going to the doctor or medicines. I heard that peroxide helps. I have the toothpaste: Colgate Whitening with baking soda and peroxide. So if I rubbed some of the toothpaste onto the areas where I twitch, will it might stop twitching? It's got peroxide in it..... IF that doesn't help, what can? (plz don't say I have to go the doctor, that excuse gets old)
