Excessive water in the tissues. Swollen legs and ankles are one symptom. Too much water retension will make your heart work harder and your blood pressure increase.

Edema , is when parts of your body swell up from retaining to much fluid, Most popular places are feet and legs. can be any where. It is a sure sign that you need water, . Being a kidney cancer survivor, I at one time poo poo'd the water theory but over the years , I gave it a try, Strangely enough I noticed an hugh decrease in the swelling through out my body. And I also noticed that other things seem to be better also. you just feel better. less head aches. less pain from arthritis .
