This could be a minor problem or it could be indicative of some major problem. Let a doctor decide which it is.

Well I am afraid these might be because you may have colon cancer. These are the symptoms of this type of cancer. What I would suggest you is take a doctor’s appointment and get yourself checked up. If you feel you want to go for a self test first then you can check the link below which might help you be sure. But remember Colon Cancer or Colorectal cancer is preventable, even curable when detected early. If colorectal cancer is found early enough, the patient has more than a 90% chance of survival. So be quick in whatever you do

A sign of blood in stools is commonly a tar black stool, not necessarily a red one. Eating tomatoes or red peppers can give you reddish portions in stools. People with ulcers can get black stools due to blood getting into the stomach.
I'd see the doctor as opposed to self diagnosis which will only make you even more paranoid.

Could be something as simple as an irratated hemmoroid or something much more serious Occult Blood Stool is not only one of the coolest sounding diagnoses it is something that a doctor really needs to look at.

How much blood are we talking about? If it is just a little bit you shouldn't worry. If however this continues for a few more days or there is allot of blood then you should go to a doctor, nothing at home is going to compare to a visit to a physician.

DO NOT SELF test as you already know you have blood in the stool and this is what any test will tell you . You need to call and see your doc ASAP to get this checked out. It could be simple like hemorrhoids, fissures or diverticulosis or it could be mores serious like polyps or cancer. DO NOT wait get checked soon.

If it is on the outside of your stool, it is probably from a hemorrhoid. If it is mixed in your stool, then you need to see a doctor ASAP. My sister died from colon cancer because she waited a year to go to the doctor.

If the blood is red or pinkish, it could be hemrrhoids, if your stool looks like coffee grounds or are black it could be a bleed. the best thing to do is go to a DR. it will save you worry and it sounds like your body is trying to tell you something....listen.

Sorry no.
You need to see your doctor as soon as possible.
It could be that you just have hemorrhoids, but you do need to have it checked out as there are a lot of more serious conditions that have the same symptoms.
Good luck
