Yes, having pupils of different sizes isn´t normal, and if your son has suffered head trauma or has experience headaches recently or is sleepy, has mood changes or personality changes, or any other neurological manifestation you must go immediately to the hospital.

Sounds like you are talking about the pupils being of different sizes. You should call your pediatrician and put a message into him or her. This is definitely a question for the pediatrician or your family doctor. Make sure you leave a message with the after hours staff or answering system for an immediate call back. Did your son fall and hit his head, or does he have a temperature? Only the doctor can answer this question, and if not the doctor, then an after hours clinic or emergency department at a hospital. Maybe nothing really wrong, but this is a definite reason to consult medical staff professionals for an assessment now.

Is this a congenital condition? Then no need to be concerned. Otherwise, get off the freaking Internet and go straight to the ER. This is a true emergency.

Yes! you should be alarmed. A fully dialated puple while the other is normal is NOT normal.
Rush your child to an Opthalmologist ASAP, even the emergency room! Please for the Lord's Sake, It may be very serious!
