how can one get glaucoma?

i was diagnosed with glaucoma...for years i did not have my eyes checked; and now i found out i have glaucoma and it's already advanced...how did i get it?

It's aging change in the eyes , it can be removed by conventional or laser surgery. Better have an immediate operation before complications like dislocation of lens develop or retinal damage.
