If you were an alcoholic you would be going to meetings!!!! I don't go to meeting and I average a case of beer a day I don't consider myself an alcoholic I'm a drunk!!!! And to answer your question I don't think you have a drinking problem. You proved that at the kegger, You seem like you like a harmless buzz now and then, Great if your not drinking I guess the pillow fights won't be that intense anymore, Just kidding good for you, Keep me informed.

If you are an alcoholic you will never be cured. It is a life long struggle.

You just chose not to drink this evening, will you do that every time liquor/beer is around? If you can then you are a recovering alcoholic.

The first answer is correct. You will never be cured. Look at president Bush - he used to be an alcoholic, then he claimed that he got cured but I suspect that he drinks secretly.

no one is ever cured. there are stories of people who stopped many years ago and one small thing could set them back doing it again so being at a kegger is not the smartest thing you could do and associating with those people are no longer your friends

yes you are on the way. while thinking to celebrating this victory, what was in your mind? the party? with drink? then the habit may spurt. try to hate or neglect of taking drink, then you will win.

Great!!!!!!!!! Nice going.
Drinking is ok, nothing wrong with it.
Drink to enjoy it ,not to escape from reality or get smashed.
