The lymph node in my right armpit is seriously swollen and has been more or less so for over a year. My doctors seem unconcerned. Is it likely that this could be serious?

I weight myself every morning when I wake up, and I noticed my weight keeps changing big time. Last summer I weighted 150lbs now I'm 170lbs & last week I weighed 178 lbs. Whats going on with me? I stay active and exercise reguaraly, I don't over eat, and I stay away from all junk food. I do yoga & meditate 3 times a week too. I had my thyroid tested last summer as well, but my Physian said it was normal. Is anyone else dealing with the same problem or do you have an idea as to what could be going on?

My friend is having seizures and the doctors say there is nothing worng with her and havent done any other tests to see what could be causing this. They have only done a spine tap. I was wondering can giving birth cause this to happen since your body changes and so do your hormones b/c these seizures started happening after se gave birth.

My partner has an ileostomy and has a difficult time eating many foods. Does anyone have recipes that might help me make good, nutritious meals that won't cause a lot of digestive problems? I'm especially looking for ways to incorporate vegetables into recipes in ways that won't cause blockages or distress. And I'm looking for advice on using mushrooms, one of the common "problem" foods that, unfortunately, we both love -- is it at all possible to grind them or use powdered dried mushroom for flavor in dishes without creating problems?

I am a female in my late 30s, slightly overweight but not obese (5'5, 148 pounds). Recent sleep test showed NO sleep apnea but did show that I woke up 30+ times (without knowing it) (even after having taken a sleep aid). Only stay in REM for 7 minutes.
Any thoughts? Doctor suggested sleeping pills but that obviously didn't work even during the sleep test. It's gotten worse - I think I'm sleeping through the night but wake up exhausted.

I know I will test positive for opioids. I plan on being honest , with my new employer, she said as long as I have a prescription I will be fine. I hope so. This is a hospital I will be working at will they do a more extensive test and make sure I'm taking the amount that I am supposed to? Sometimes I may take one or two more a day because of my pain level. Should I worry about this?

My full thyroid gland was removed last year to avoid 'Hyper Thyroidism / Thyrotoxicosis'.
I got all the symptoms for Hyperthyrodism on Jan 2006 onwards, I was completly allright before that.
One of the major symptom was 'Protrusion of eye balls with puffy, swollen eyelids'.
My doctor removed my whole thyroid gland on May 13, 2006, as a result I turned as a 'Hypothyrodism' patient.
So now daily I am taking 2 Thyroxin tablets.
Now I am felling perfectly allright.
But my eye lids are still puffy, and both eyes are bulged out.There is no change in my Vission.No pain also.
When ever I am posing to a camera my eyes are automaticaly opening wider, I dont know how this is happening to me.
Will my eyes settle back?

Two weeks ago I drank hot coffee and got one dime size flesh colored spot on my tonuge. Then like 3 days later there were 3 more dime size spots. Now it seems like my tongue is kind of white and they stand out as flesh colored....The thing is that it happens to me a lot. These spots come and go all the time. What could this be...please serious answers only. Help!Can this be geographic tongue? Or stds...how and specific symptoms of which? Or cancer???
