Expiration dates are like warranties. Just because the warranty expired doesn't mean its going to stop working. As for poisons, which poison? I would suggest some more research to avoid some nasty side effects or worse death ineffectiveness.

You can expect a lot of pain too in injesting poisons. And remember, a lot of people end up vegtables or bed ridden because they were stupid enough to try this. Or even paralyzed. Not worth the effort for a temp. problem I say.

i really don't think you're gonna care about the exp. date if you are planning on poisoning yourself.
I do however suggest talking to a professional if you are serious about these thoughts.
