A six-year-old child I know of sees heads as though they're shrinking. My friend, who has regular contact with him brushed it off as an overactive imagination, although she did admit it is very out-of-character for him. He regularly comments on the shrinking appearance. The reason I'm interested is because the child already has a degree of colour-blindness, mixing up his greens and reds. It sounds to me like a type of retinal defect, though I have no clue as to what type. Maybe I'm being paranoid. Thoughts?

The insides of my elbows have been hurting lately. Could this be due to meth use?

In the past 365 days I have had a number of colds, the flu twice (I have it right now), a major infection (that lasted several months), I was diagnosed with IBS, and in general, feel very fatigued. I have been to the doctor and they ruled out most things (and eventually diagnosed the IBS), but that still doesn't explain the chronic illness.

Do I just have a weak immune system? If so, what can I do to boost it?

I co-own a small company, and my absences are a bad thing for everyone. *I* don't want to be home sick. It isn't a vacation. What can I do? I am starting to feel rather helpless.

Can someone tell me whats wrong with me?I been having terrible headaces ever since I was 15 and now I'm 19. If i'm communicating with someone and your like 10 feet away, my vision starts to get blurry, than my eyes and head starts to hurt (Not all the time but sometimes). Even when your in front of me holding a conversation sometimes my eyes and head starts to hurt, or if I'm looking at the computer screen for along time it does the same thing. What the hell is that cause by and how can I cure it, because I'm miserable everytime I get these real bad headaces that make my eyes hurt.

i would get it , but not really because of the cost and pain, i'm 4'11, i hate being this short, im 16 yrs and 11 yr. olds r taller then me

and i'm hearing people close to my height r getting this surgery too, even though theyre not really 'midgets', ALTHOUGH 4'11 is just ONE INCH close from a 'midget', which is Embarressing (midgets 4'10 and under)

is it true that when you go into hospital for a general anaesthetic, if you are really nervous they can give you pill before hand to calm you down.. and also something to numb skin for when the needle goes in?.. i've been told this by before but when i had my pre-op assessment, nothing like that was mentioned?? I know you're thinking ... "why didnt you ask?!".. but i was so so nervous.. i have a hospital phobia and i closed up and all i could think about was getting out of there!!

Help!. I haven't had but 2 or 3 hours sleep in the last 3 days. I feel like I'm on meth and I don;t know why. I have noticed a mild cold (sore throat, knotted stomach, slight runs) but nothing seroius. Is there some sort of cold or flu that causes restlessness? I am jittery all night long. I don;t drink caffeine before I go to bed and never usually have problems sleeping. Last night I took a dose of Nyquil and 3 tylenol PM's and still nothing.

Its a stabbing pain that mostly gets my attention, like I'm being stabbed from the inside, it hurts really bad if i breath in but after a few seconds to about a minute it goes away. Its occuring more and more often lately, like 3 times a week or something, is it something to worry about or is it just a muscle spasm in my chest? What could cause this? Any information would help thanks. Oh also it worries me because the cardiologist told me at one point a few years ago that I have a slight heart murmur but he also told me that it was nothing to worry about.

I am thinking of getting my 5 yr old daughter tested for adhd but i'm not sure who would be the best person to go to! The obvious answer would be our gp but he hasn't seemed to help in the past with other problems she is still being tested for a diagnosis for something completely different since she was 18 mnths old and it is still ongoing.
