I was woken in the middle of the night by a very sharp stabbing pain in my right leg, just below the knee at the back. I jumped out of bed and after a couple of minutes the sharp pain subsided, leaving me with an ache that lasted 2 or 3 days. Where the pain was, I have a fading red mark. I have had DVT's in the past but not for at least 6 years and though I was on lifetime Warfarin, I took myself off it over a year ago. My previous DVT's progressed to PE's, but I know the pain I suffered the another night was worse than anything I have ever experienced. There is no and was no swelling around the area and I feel no pain now. Should I go and get it checked out at the Doctor? Your help would be greatly appreciated.

I know some people who have had major medical problems from tolulene exposure from their workplace, seizures, brain damage, personality changes, severe headaches, dizziness, loss of vision etc. I was wondering if anyone out there has had these problems too? Did the company you work or worked for do anything to solve the problems, did OSHA do their job in protecting you? Some people I know have devastating medical problems and I want to know if we should take action, legally on this, If you took legal action-what happened with your case. Thanks in advance for all of your help-I appreciate it very much.

I had the surgery on both of my big toes on both sides of each toe, He removed the sides and put the acid stuff so they cannot grow back, I had it at about 10am yesterday morning, now it is 1:42 am here and my toes are still numb. I wonder if this is normal, it looks like he really beat up my toes, the one looks black and blue, with bubble blisters,,,,any advice? Thanks!

I don't know the name of this type of insomnia, or even if one exists, but at least three to four nights a week, I find my self unable to sleep. My body is completely wiped out, but my brain seems to be on overdrive. I have had this insomnia for roughly two years, and have yet to find a suitable, natural treatment that keeps working longer than a week or so.

For a better description of my insomnia, please read about it in my blog at this URL: hijabirocker.blogspot.com. It is the top post, and describes what the insomnia feelslike, in case more physical and mental descriptions are needed.

When someone makes me really mad, I begin to shake and my heart starts to beat out of control. I also get a shortness of breath and I know this is wrong but sometimes I need to hit the person who pissed me off. I know I am not crazy but anxiety does run in my family. Panic disorder as well if its not the same thing. Anyone have any idea or does anyone ever feel this way?

My feet are cold all of the time, no matter what the temperature is. I have to always wear socks, otherwise they are so cold that it is uncomfortable (it's the only way I can sleep at night). I get tired to easily now and I don't know why. Lately I've been getting horrible headache right above my eye and sometimes my eyes get a bit blurry for a few minutes at a time. recently, I get a bad stomach ache whenever I eat anything heavy- I'm not talking about the amount of food- I mean like if I drink a soda, my head ache comes back and I have this weird dazed feeling or if I eat a dinner like macaroni and cheese or pizza I get so nauseated. My family's Nigerian and we eat traditional food and I get nauseated when I eat that too. The same thing happens when I don't eat. But the weird part is that I'm always so hungry.
I'm 16 if this helps

Thanks

Just wondering if it is worth what you have to go through. Please tell me, if you'd do it all over again.

Thanks for your answers!

I want my doc to refer me to an endocrinologist,

because my periods r very irregular since age 12 (my first period), until now at age 16 (3-6 months inbetween).

I read that endocrinologist also specialize in "Growth Disorders" , which I might have since I'm only 4'11 ! im hoping they could prescribe me some hormone pill that my body might b lacking due to my height

Yes, endocrinologists specialize in Thyroid problems , and I have alot of symptoms of HYPOTHYROIDISM even though my 'bloodtests' came back as 'fine' from my 'docter'

So is this a good reason to c a endocrinologist
or will it look like Im just wasting their time?
