What can be done about TIA's that are caused by vasospasms?? Migraines and Raynaud's are also an issue. I have been treated for each individually, but no one thing seems to help with all. Anything I can do to prevent it all and make it go away??

I have never been given an explaination for what causes the vasospasm and constriction in the first place. Any ideas? The Migraines emerged at age 10, the TIA's at 25 and the Raynaud's at 27. I will be 31 soon. What's next?

A little more than a month ago I was diagnosed with a UTI and a kidney infection. 4 antibiotics and several doctors later I'm fine. Nothing abnormal in sonograms, blood work or urine. However I'm still having low back pain and upper right abdominal pain. I saw a urologist today who believes that I may have gallbladder disease. (The more I've researched, the more I think I may have it) The dr. wants me to get it checked out however I have to go back to college on Friday and won't be back until March and only for a week. The pain is not improving and I cannot deal with it any longer. How long can I go without going to a Dr, is the gallbladder something that needs fast medical attention? How would they test it? A sonogram? Won't that only detect if I have gallstones? I’m very confused as to what I should do. I don’t really want to miss any school to go to the doctors, but I don’t want to have to deal with this pain anymore. What should I do???

I need to know exactly where the lymph nodes on the back of the neck are located. I have looked all over the internet for this info but cannot find it. I have a small, swollen, sore, warm spot on the back of my neck but I cannot find where the lymph nodes are located to confirm if this is a lymph node or not. Thanks for the help.

My father has had a recurring pain issue each December/January (when the weather gets colder) for the past 3 years and it usually doesn't subside until Spring. The pain is in the IDENTICAL areas each year. He gets a very sharp and chronic pain in his lower back which makes standing upright and walking difficult. The pain radiates into his testicles. Also, he has a nagging and throbbing pain in the front/outer part of his upper right thigh and similar pain in his lower left outer calf (top of right leg/bottom of left leg).

Any ideas regarding his health issue?

I've had the Sinus problem for almost 2 months.

I've been on:
1) Zpack, RhinoCort, Allegra-D
2) Prednisone and Allegra-D
3) Augmentin, Allegra-D, and Rhinocort
and finally currently taking Zyrtec-D, Mucinex (I added this)

Also been doing Sinus Rinses.

I have allergy tests coming up in a week or so and if I'm not better, my doctor is referring me to and ENT.

I am seriously addicted... is that a bad thing? All addictions are bad, well thats what my mom says. So how can I stop it? Gum is a way for me no tto bite my nails... but then i get addicted to gummm... like today at a basketball game i bought 6 packs of gum and im already finsihed with 4 in 2 hours. Is that wrong? Does anyone else feel like that?

Every night that I don't take my sleep medication my eyes feel like they can't keep shut, and when I try to keep them shut they twitch until I have to open them again. I was just wondering what could cause that. Thanks for your help. :D

My little cousin is 6 years old and he has these coughing fits that make him puke....he pukes at least once a day.....he has taken cough meds.....he has an inhaler....weve gone to the drs....i dont know what to do tho.....causei know that puking every day is bad for him not only cause he is losing all the nutrition from the food that he is eating....but also it is eating away his esophagus....he has been like this for the past 2 years....hes very active...so its not taking a toll on him yet....but im worried cause hes so young...is there anything that can help him stop caughing when he gets in those fits??

My eye was hurting and then I pulled down the lower lid and looked - there is a red bump under the skin there and I am wondering if this has to do anything with a cold I have or could it be from dust? I swept a lot of dust the other day. What to do, any advice would hlep.

Every now and then I start yawning again and again, and I can't stop. I feel like I need more oxygen to stop yawning, so I breath much faster than usual. Sometimes when I'm breathing faster I feel like I'm getting enough air, and sometimes I don't.

I'm yawning like once or twice a minute. BTW I'm 18

Ive recently had sex with a prostitute. We used a condom that she provided and it was intact the whole time. What i am concern about is a scrap i had on my knuckle. I had scrapped my knuckle on my middle finger a week prior. The scrap is about 1/3 of a pennysize and was located where u bend ur finger. The day of intercoarse with the prostitute the scrap re-opened. It wasnt bleeding but it was still wet and if i squeezed hard enough im sure i could of gotten some blood out of the wound. During sex i had touched her vaginal and my hands had some of her vaginal fluids on them. I never fingered her at all. Just touched her clitoris and vagina. Im not too sure if any got on the wound or not But if some did get on the scrap I was just wondering my Chances of catching HIV from a situation like that. Ive also done research and ive read theoritically it is possible to get HIV thru a open wound while fingering but it has never happen. No recorded cases of this incident has ever happen. Is that true? and if it is true then that means the chances of contracting HIV in my situation is even more rare. Another concern was after sex i washed up in the shower with her and she was washing her vaginal. I was wonder if HIV can be present in the water cause my scrap definitely got wet. Can HIV also be present in used towels? The towel i used to dry my penis with seemed used? Thank u in advance.

I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism a few months ago. My diagnosis explained alot of things that was going on with my body. Ive had big eyes since i was a tot and my aunt just mentioned to me that shes sees my eyes bigger than they were before. Does this mean that my hyperthyroidism is causing my eyes to become better. Im not taking any treatment for my hyperthryoid right now but when i do start taking it will it stop the bulging of eyes ? Is there any surgery i can do to correct this problem with my eyes?

Please tell me your opinion on drug addiction! As a person who has battled it for a while and now clean and sober I would like to hear your thoughts and opinions... Is it a disease?
