Eyes can't keep shut?

Question

Every night that I don't take my sleep medication my eyes feel like they can't keep shut, and when I try to keep them shut they twitch until I have to open them again. I was just wondering what could cause that. Thanks for your help. :D

It sounds more psychological than physical, talk to your doctor about it;
