Hey guys, have a quick question for you. I was using a public computer, and I bent down to pick up a pen from the ground, making my hair touch the keyboard, and when I got back up I noticed that there were a frew drops of semi-wet blood on the keyboard. I think my hair touched it. What should I do? Can HIV or anything else live in my hair? Should I cut the hair off that came into contact with the blood? Will a simple shower wash away any virsus or bacteria in my hair.

I occasionally see what I think are shooting stars in my vision temporarily. It only happens when I turn my head around to look behind me, as in backing up in my car, etc. Any one have this happen to them?

I've been having some mild stomach problems the last few days, including some rectal itching (it's embarrasing for me to even say that) that isn't constantly present but comes ocaasionally. I'ma clean person and I wash my hands often, keep my home clean etc. so I don't think it's a virus. I can't seem to get to a doctor because I live on a military post where they offer appointments 2 weeks after you really need one. In other words, the system sucks. I haven't changed my diet or anything and I don't have hemmoroids. What else could be causing the problems? Has anyone ever just had intesitinal problems with some occasional itching before?

i have white lumps that grow in my tonsil's, what is causing this to happen?, can i stop it from happening because theres hole appearing in my tonsil and ive never seen that before. will i need them removed? and does it effect anythink else with my throat? like will it cause other infections

over a year ago i had a lateral release done on my knee, now its starting to hurt again, i went for a second opinion on what can be done to fix this and theres only one solution, its called a "Tibial Tubercle Osteotomy Fulkerson Osteotomy" Ive tried doing some research on this procedure and i havent found much. Basically what it is, is that they cut my tibial bone in half and re-attatch them to my knee so that the placement is no longer crocked and there isnt any stress left. The doc said its a 99% fix in all patients with this problem. Im just curious to see if anyone else has had this done, or know anyone who has, any info would be great. thanks!

rbc count in urine is 30-40.sometimes had some temperature..no other symtomes..docter said take bioxy from kidney and verify the problem.is it necessery?any problem occur when rbc count high in urine?

cause it happens to me and i really don't like it cause its really scarry it happens when ever i'm sleep and wake up and i see that i'm paralys and i c an't move my self or do anything and i can't even scream for help, its a really ugly disorder

I lived in Indonesia and have brought them to China and USA, but none of the doctors could correctly diagnosed the sickness they are suffering from. Symptoms are mixture of CP and Multiple Sclerosis. He barely can walk now and has to be spoon fed. Any recommendations of doctors? Advice?

My right eye droops a little - more so when I am tired and my eye doctor is concerned. Also, my glaucoma test was 23 and he is sending me for more tests, I am 48. Are these two things related? What is up with the eyelid drooping, it has been like this for about a year or so.

I have just bought an external natural rubber catheter for my father who is paralyzed. Are these for a single use only?

Also more info, links about this problem and about caring for paralyzed persons would be greatly appreciated.

By the way, there are no instructions on the box, and the pharmacy employees also didn't know anything about this...

My husband was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis is Sept of 05'. We have tried Rebif and other drugs, liver unable to handle them.
Alternative treatment is that he gets admited to the hospital for 3 days to get three 1,000mg doses of prednisone IV. Afterwards he is not lower the doesage over time at home with pill form. Usually we get a perscrip for him to follow up with 80mg a day for 7 days then 40mg for 3 days, then 20mg for 3 days, then 10mg for 3 days, then 5mg for 5 days. This past time he was given a perscrip for 200mg(10 pills) once daily for a week, then 100mg(5 pills) for 4 days, then 80mg every other day for 30 days(15 days of pills). I dont understand the big difference and why they would give him so many pills. The perscribing doc was a hospital doc, and when I called his nurologist he said I should change the dose to 200mg, skip a day, 100mg, skip, 50 mg, skip, 35mg, skip, 5mg... What have your dosages been? Any help would be apreciated.

I have OCD, and my doctors dont want to put me on anything. i tell them i clean like there is no tomorrow i scrub the bath tub, vacum 8 times a day and many more.... and if i dont clean i start to get really twitchy like i'm on crack.HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
