I occasionally see what I think are shooting stars in my vision temporarily. It only happens when I turn my head around to look behind me, as in backing up in my car, etc. Any one have this happen to them?

sounds like when you are moving your head the vitreous gel in the back of your eye is moving and tugging on your retina. Not an emergency, but worth going to your eye doctor and being dilated to make sure that is what it is.

If you have neck pain this could be a sign of nerve impingement...get that checked out.
