No it won't as scoliosis develops at puberty and is not known to be genetically linked. Scoliosis is a curvature of the spine.

I don't think so. There may be a genetic propensity towards developing scoliosis but since it is based, in large part, on the individual's growth rate, there are more variables involved in the development of scoliosis than just the genes. Therefore, you may be able to identify the genes that *might* cause scoliosis, there is no guarantee that scoliosis *will* develop just because you have those genes. So, long story short - stem cells might be good for a lot of things, but a cure for scoliosis probably ain't gonna be one of 'em.
