I know how you feel, you can still feel VERY sick even though you won't sound like it on the phone.

Call in when you're half awake while you're still in bed, your voice will sound raspy and you'll sound tired.

Stuff toilet paper in your nostrils, when you will talk it will sound like you're stuffed up (congested).

Talk slower than you usually do.

If you tell them you have a fever you don't really have to sound that sick since a fever is a fever and it's very important not to go to work with a fever.

Just say you are ill! I consider it could sound suspect if you happen to spoke with a blocked nostril and coughed lol. It actually could. Just speak the way you by and large do and simply say you have got the flu. Or you might inform them you may have received diarrhoea and you do not wish every body else to capture it lol on account that it IS contagious..... hahahaha My step mum did that to my cousin on account that my cuz did not wish to visit university. So my mum rang up the major and mentioned she had the trots (diarrhoea) lol. So humorous.

Go on Ebay and buy a voice changer/distorter...you can probably set it as man, you sound like another man and then cover your nose when you talk.

You know.....lying about being sick WILL come back to bite you on the butt.

Just go to work or wherever you are supposed to be going.

Besides.....what kind of man says, "I'm feeling FAINT!"

Good grief.

everyone else is right, but if you insist- talk quietly and kinda slowly like you're really tired. but don't exaggerate it too much or people will know you're faking.
