If we are talking about mucus with a little blood in it, do not worry...but if we are talking about red mucus, then you need to go to the doctor ASAP. The emergency room!

I should think that would depend on the amount, the color and if this is common for you or not. All of which are questions a doctor should be asking you.
Hemoptisis or coughing up blood is a cardinal sign of tuberculosis, and you may have been exposed and infected, you can't know without proper testing.
Suggestion: See a Doctor ASAP

Listen first things first .... Get medical attention ASAP .....
And i think this is quite a knive question in itself ... coz coughing blood is serious buissness ... you should not waste time in getting medically attended ..
Coughing up blood may because of various reasons ...
maybe your Trachea is swollen and a irritant has provoked infection ... there are a number of causes to this as well ..
Get a Full - body check up in the nearest hospital .... hope you get well soon .... :)

Go to the doctor... now... if you are coughing up blood again, go to the ER. coughing up blood is not a little thing .. it's a huge big thing that needs to be looked at right away.

Were you sweating all night? If so its highly likely that you have active Tuberculosis and you need to get to a hospital asap while avoiding close proximity to everyone.

Go chest physcian to role out seriou causes by doing auscultation to ur chest,X-r, sputum exam. and to put a clear diagnosis and start treatement as early as possible.
