I have been having right side pain and this morning I had a test and the radiology tech said that my gallbladder is not functioning. My appt with a specialist is not for 2 more weeks - can anyone tell me what will happen? Will they need to remove it?

Probably- and it can be a pretty simple procedure- so do not worry! Too bad you have to wait 2 weeks though...

Well the tech needs kicked because he's not supposed to be Diagnosing films. He can get in a lot of trouble for that. You said you had a test? what kind of test? Was it an X-ray or was it Fluoroscopy?
