i'm 14 and i just had my ear syringed because my ears were blocked by earwax. (the left ear was completely covered and the right ear was partially). i never listen to loud music and i dont expose my ears to loud noise. my dad said that its because after my syringing my reception of hearing was different to my last hearing making me sensitive to all the sounds and i think i have a really slight tinnitus because when everything is quiet and im all alone in my room i can hear a slight ringing that does not bother me at all. now ive got my ear syringed it sort of made it louder. its been 2 weeks now and apparently if people that has slight tinnitus and had a blocked earwax it would make the tinnitus temporarily worse but after the syringe the tinnitus would go back to its previous state from a couple of days to a couple of weeks. do you think that my tinnitus would go back to its previous state in a month?

My school is horrible, I come from a place where everybody is especially pressured to be a straight-A-student, but I'm average. Also, people are soo mean, even the teachers!!!
There's nobody I can turn to and I had to endure this for two years. I spoke to a psychiatrist and a councillor, but they just handed me a hand full of pills and saw me as a client, not a person....I also feel so worthless, cause I've never been in a relationship and long to be accepted by someone...
Even at home, there's no sanctuary, my dad drinks and critizises everything I do, that I'll never get through life, and my mum doesn't help me out. When I want to talk to my mum about my problems, she just says I already have enough on my hand with your father's "bad moods".....jeez, I really blurted out a lot now.....be gentle with your answers....

I have had a problem with my right kidney since the end of October, when I got sharp pains near my bladder. I am seeing a small amount of blood in my urine, every day. I am convinced that it is a kidney stone, as I am having sharp pains in my back, where my kidney is. However, I have seen 5 doctors, of which only one thought it might be a kidney stone, and I have had 2 scans, neither of which found any evidence of a stone. So I have no idea what the problem is, and it has been going on for so long and getting more painful. My GP has booked another hospital appt for me with a different doctor, but before Christmas I went to a herbal clinic, told them I have a kidney stone and they gave me some disgusting herbal tea, which they said will shrink, soften and break up any stone. Every time I drink it, the pain goes away, but it is expensive (£35 for a weeks supply) and I can't afford it any more. Someone please help me! What is the problem I am having?

My mom has severe fibromyalga, so severe, her doctors wont allow her to work anymore, so she is attempting to get on disability. She also has blood pressure and heart problems, so there are limited options for prescription pain relief. Does anybody know of some safe natural remedies to help ease her pain?

Also, is Fibromyalga inherited?

Im 16 and have been suspecting that i have vitamin deficiency. however i dont know which, the list is endless. can i professional or someone who has experienced help me figure which type.

I have speech problems like stuttering or cant pronounce a word correctly, walking problems - i lose balance, headaches i thought it was due to coffee or due to the time i spend on books, weak mouth, bad breath, pale skin, weak limbs - 3 or 4 days per weak i feel totally exhausted, i have white spots under my nail, hair loss, instances where my mind just won't think, loss of apetit, underweight, numbness or tingling in my hands and feet, blackouts when i stand up all of a sudden, i get out of breath easily - like at school four flights of stairs with my bag on my back kill me i try to breath and that makes my feel nausetic, anxious all the time, impatient, lack of refexis and can't connect ideas toghether.

im really concerned. what if it has bad effects on my future, and my ability to conceive

I started going to the doctor because i have been dealing with persistant nausea for about 7 months now. basically everything and anything causes me to feel nauseous ALL the time. I had a couple blood tests done along w/ the urine test and she had no clue what it was. she advised to make an appointment for an ultrasound and if that showed nothing that i would go to a specialist. She had mentioned that my syptoms sounded like some kind of ulcer but not likely. i just received a letter saying that i have IBS which came out of nowhere. I've only had blood tests done so does anyone know what test would show it was IBS? She told me to just go to the classes available at the hospital.
Also, my symptoms are persistant nausea, burning sensation in the stomach like i havent eaten in a long time, get hungry every 2-3 hrs and lots of burping. No specific food seems to make it worse either.

First, I'm 16, male and from California, if that might be relevant.
Two days ago at around 8 PM when I got home I kept feeling a bit nauseous and like I had to throw up. It wasn't too bad and I just went to sleep.
Then I woke up at around 1:30 AM and it was feeling a lot worse, woke up my parents to go to the hospital and I threw up on the way. Anyway, they put me on an IV and all that, but when they let me go at like 7:30 they didn't really say what was wrong, just gave me some stuff to take if it happened again.

Anyway, since then I haven't felt hungry at all, I ate a bowl of soup just cuz I felp I should eat something. Now though, whenever I stand up my head starts hurting, I feel a sort of pressure above my stomach but below where my heart it, and I have a sharp pain on the right side of my stomach. I haven't thrown up, but I also haven't eaten much, and I have kept feeling nauseous. I also had to use the bathroom frequently, each time I had diarrhea.

I have been on thyroid meds for over 30 years and for the first time the pharmacist told me not to take it with milk or drink milk within 2 hours as it affects the absorption of the pill. I welcome any input/thoughts on this. Thanks.
