Why do we have to spend money to use eye drops and get unnecessary side effect if we are only being suspected to have Glaucoma?

Can't we not just
1. Not use any eye drops
2. Get our eyes checked as often as needed to see any nerve damage or whatever test necessary.

We can, afterwards use drop if we suspect any damage coming.

Any comments will be greatly appreciated

I am a 5'5" male who hit puberty late. I have several questions of my own and would like a knowledgable opinions of things I have found on the internet.

1) Is there a way to test if my growth plates have fully closed?
2) I have read that if growth plates are closed there are parts of the body (upper body) that can continue to grow. Is this true?
3) At 19.5 Is it possible for growth hormone to have ANY positive effect on my height?
4) I have read that reflexology can positively affect height. is this true?
5) Are there any clinical trials of drugs that might increase my height?
6) Who are the leading experts in human gowth?
7) Are there any reputable nontraditional methods worthy of consideration?
8) If you were in my position are there any other questions you would ask or approaches you would consider?

If you believe that other posts maybe misleading or untrustworthy, please comment.

Thank you for you time and consideration,

second. It's like there's an explosion in my head (no pain involved). I almost want to say I see stars or a flash of light. The first time it occured I thought I had a stroke or something. I'm a very relaxed, slow to anger type personality. I find it interesting that the only time this occurs is when I'm dealing with my boyfriend (I'm starting to think he's everybody's boyfriend). Recently, he asked me for a cigarette and I did the black out thing. This response is completely involuntary. Sounds trivial, a cigarette. That's just one of about a million other things he's asked for over the last three years, never willing to give anything himself. Needless to say, this relationship needs to be disolved.

What I'm wanting to know is, what's going on in my body to cause the reaction I've described. It's happened five or six times, beginning about six months ago. I'm 38. I'm insulin dependant. Wonder if I should discuss this with my doctor.

I read Spina Bifida was one, but so far that is all I've heard. One of my sisters has Fibro Myalgia and Rheumotoid Arthritis. The other sister has a rare birth defect that keeps her home and in pain. They both have Emphysema. We all have Osteoporosis ( ages 24-36 ), and have bone scans that age us at 65 or older. Our Father hopefully will be dully compensated for his many debilitatating ailments, and is in the process now.

My 5 yr old dtr woke up with a fever of 101 orally. She complained of a severe stomach ache (literally hurt to walk). I took her to the doctor. He examined her and did a cbc. It was slightly elevated and told me to bring her to the er in the morning if she was still in pain so that he could do another cbc. If it increased he would send us to a surgeon because he suspected it to be an early stage of appendicites. No vomiting. The pain has not gone away but seems less severe than this morning. I've never heard of a 5 yr old having this but the doctor said it was common. Is this true?

Does anyone have any ideas for non-traditional or naturopathic treatments for polymyositis? My wife has been diagnosed but the treatment side effects are almost as bad as the disease. She is currently taking prednizone as well as some chemotherapy drugs and the side effects have her so depressed that she cries every day. Thanks for your time.

I've had very dark colored smelly urine for a long while now. I drink plenty of water at least 12 glasses a day. Shouldn't that dilute the urine? My urine is so concentrated. I'm guessing it's probably a uti or possibly a kidney infection; but I don't have the usual symptoms. Such as pain and burning, frequancy or anything like that. Mines just like a very dark amber color. I was just wondering if anyone else has this? Oh btw i"m seeing the doctor on monday. Thanks for all your answers in advance.

I have been diagnosed with both.with contiuous research,i find that there are many similiar physical symptoms.yet i have been told by quite a few neurologists that there is no connection.I really don't believe the doctors have enough knowledge of either condition, thus causing their lack of information.

The last two weeks, my nose would bleed at least once a day everytime I wash my face or my hands at the sink.

Why does it do that?
Is it possible to lose a lot of blood that I will have low blood pressure and die?

Does our body generate new blood cells when we lose old ones?

Toxins may be defined as substances which produce physical, emotional, and psychological imbalances in an individual. We are consistently exposed to toxins every day. There are two types of toxins: exogenous and endogenous. Exogenous toxins are present in the outside environment, whereas endogenous toxins are produced as a result of imbalances in our metabolism.
There are two types of illnesses caused by toxicity:

1) Nonspecific illness

This includes poorly-defined symptoms such as fatigue, headaches, insomnia, bad breath, muscle stiffness, depression, allergies, etc. this group is very difficult to categorize, with many combinations possible. Many of these symptoms are also labeled as hypoglycemia, candidiasis, food allergies, and stress.

2) Specific illness

This includes better-defined syndromes having a characteristic set of symptoms. Some examples are: migraine, arthritis, psoriasis, influenza, sinusitis, immune deficiencies, tumors.
