I have had pretty severe throat pain (a burning feeling) and a piercing chest pain behind the left breast for 6 years. Doctors have done ekg's of my heart, which were normal, lung scan, normal, endoscopy for throat, normal, which ruled out Reflux. A doctor said the chest pain isn't heart related because it doesn't get worse with exercise and I can run very fast. I'm so frustrated. Any ideas??

I don't suspect any foul play at all, but I thought the only way to get cold sores (oral herpes) was from someone else. Is that true?

thoracolumbar area is like would it be L4 L5? My duaghters MRI show severe scoliosis at the thoracolumbar junction and the doc wants to pass her on to another doc and didn't tell us if that was what could be causing her pain. She has pain in many areas (due to tumors) and if we could idenitfy one area it would make her feel better knowing what it is that could be causing it besides the tumors.

Thanx
