The hairloss will start getting better pretty quickly once your nutrition is under control. The hormones are another story. It really depends how underweight you are because the hormones won't start working right until you're back to what the body perceives to be a healthy weight. I lost 77 pounds my freshman year in HS on a safe diet, but my period stopped the first month on the diet. It wasn't until a full 3 years later (middle of my Senior year) that my period started again...and even then it was only every other month and it stopped every time I lost a few pounds. I was 8 weeks pregnant with my first son at the age of 25 and didn't know it because my periods were still all messed up...and that was 12 years after I started losing the weight. The only thing to know is that getting healthy again is a good thing and missing your period for a few years is enviable by many standards. You'll be fine if you're eating a healthy array of foods again. Good luck on your recovery.

Once you start eating healthily again, the hair loss should right itself pretty quickly. The hormones can take a much longer time. It really depends on how much you lost, how long it took, how long you were bulimic, etc etc.

The fastest way to fix it is to go to a doctor and ask about it.

Soon enough, but don't worry as otherwise the recovery will get delayed.
