I'm just wondering what YOUR experience was, how PT was and what you did for the excruciating pain. Narcotics and NSAIDS do not work. Not even Morphine. I'm taking dilaudid now and it takes the edge off ever so slightly but it does help. I'm in CONSTANT pain and I just don't know what to do. Neither do the PT people or my nurse (at home health care). Any thoughts, comments, or suggestions? I'd appreciate any insight to this that anyone may have. Thanks in advance for your help.

I have 3 craters in them big enough to stick my thumb in and they fill with what looks like cottage cheese but its just alot of white blood cells or at least thats what the doctor says. I have only been seeing my family doctor about them, and he always says that theres not enough of them to remove. I had to go to internet schooling because I was missing so much school over them. Last year I was sick over them 11 times and everytime i get sick with them even with a penicellian shot it takes 6-11 days for me to get better. Any suggestions on what I should do?

I've had Genital Herpes for over a year now. I'm an eighteen year old attractive female.. Though Genital Herpes could be described as the least of my problems.. though it was such a lovely present.. after I found out I became bedridden for over a month.. basically numb and a vegetable. I was employed but became very sick at work since I was misdiagnosed, then you guessed it, I became unemployed. I've had a few jobs after that and eventually I dropped out of high school. Though sometimes it isn't too heavy on my mind other times it is bringing me down. I've been to counseling and been on medication and I understand other people out there have it much worse. I've attempted suicide more than once.. I have a lot to offer and I've been accepted by men even with the lovely present but I still feel as though I am worthless, now unattractive, and dirty. I feel everything I have to offer means nothing and life is meaningless. Anyone experience similar feelings after contracting the disease?

Are there any medical professionals out there who can tell me if it is true that bananas can be a remedy for diahrrea? I was diagnosed as having Celiac and certain foods agravate symptoms of Celiac. In my case caffeine is a culprit. It accelerates my stomach lining and bowel movements. Immodium . Lomotil and Librax all work and help. But as far as a natural remedy it seems that bananas slow down ALL of my symptoms-the only problem is that too much banana in my diet seems to have a binding effect in my stomach (Not necessarily constipation). I find bananas seem to enhance the effects of medicines i take. Anyone have any knowledge or advice on the effects of bananas and my medical condition? Thanks

Doctor thinks I have gout. Awaiting blood tests. With medication do you still have to modify your diet? Do you still get attacks after taking meds? What has your experience been with gout?

Thanks

Neice (3 yo) has the repetitive version, where she repeats the same task over and over. Also, when asked to hand over one block, she'll just count the blocks.

Nephew (2 yo) has the version where he throws fits constantly and can't focus on pretty much anything at all. He also cannot speak yet, aside from "whee" and "dada".

They both live in an apartment with me, their father, and my stepfather.

How can I help them to learn the most efficiently, despite their autistic problems? How can I learn to help them work around their autism?

Please help, I love all little kids very much, but these two even more because they're family. I want to help them grow, no matter what they may be labeled as.

If your doctor recommends it say NO! I just read online that this drug is about to be black- boxed listed.

I have been doing this for a while now but it has gotten epsecially worst since I've had my daughter. My daughter is now 9 months and mostly sleeps through the night. When she was about 2 months, she would only sleep for 1-2 hours and then wake up. It seems my body has gotten used to waking up in 3-4 hours now and I can't seem to break the habbit. I would lay there for about 1-2 minutes until I fall back to sleep, but why do I keep going through this process of waking every 3-4 hours. I do the same thing on the weekend. I don't eat/drink late, I tire myself out through the day, I go the bathroom before bed but nothing seems to help keep my asleep. I wake up so tired EVERY morning because my sleep is constantly being broken. This to me sounds like a sleeping disorder, or what do you guys think? Should I ask my doctor for sleeping pills?

Also, I think the fact that I have a small bladder problem contributes to the fact of me waking up because I have to use the bathroom.

Long ago, I remember my friend telling me a story that he had a worm and the only reason why he knew is because his mother saw it coming out of his butt one night. What is this worm? And it's not like he was just sleeping naked, she took him to the doctor with suspicion that there could be a parasite inside him. The doctor told her to watch his butt to see if anything came out of it while he slept.
