I took it for 2 days and had to stop! I had nausea which is tolerable and rapid heart rate, throat was slightly tight, hallucinations, Nightmares, pain in my legs, flushed feeling.
If your doctor recommends it say NO! I just read online that this drug is about to be black- boxed listed.

I was diagnosed Bronchitis, and the drug was 50.00 dollars after insurance. I was pretty upset about this. Live and Learn

I m allergic to Levaquin. After a couple surgeries I had I was given a higher dosage of the antibiotic and I had a couple allergic reactions. I ended up with a yeast infection once and the other time I got thrush in my mouth, and that was horrible. It s like the worst sore throat that starts in your mouth, and the liquid medication you have to take is absolutely horrible.

Never had a problem with it, it has always worked when I needed it. Maybe you are allergic to whatever the drug is made from.

If you are given an antibiotic, for the love of god, just shut up and take it. Quitting your prescription early breeds antibiotic-resistant super-bacteria (like MRSA -- thanks a lot, penicillin abusers!).
Levaquin is NOT getting a black box. I read clinical trial news and research all the time as part of my job. There is NO black box pending for this drug. Even if it did, it is still the best course of action for a lot of bacterial infections that are impossible to treat with other drugs.
