I'm 33 married woman. I have a question about complex situation of my younger brother (27). He was a nice, jolly, handsome sportsman and very caring and loving too all. I had always great understanding with him and on my husband's request he lives with us as he himself has to be on buisness tours frequently. I was not much worried finding out my brother was into flirtious acts with number of gals but considered it a normal thing for guys. I start worrying when he start getting isolated and spending most of time in his room. Too boot, he suddenly announced he wont marry his fiance without giving any reason. finally I decided to talk to him and after a lot of hesitation he scummbed to pressure and admitted that he got addicted of self-pleasure while having immoral sexual thoughts in mind. He also confessed that he started it with suggession of a doctor and get addicted and now do it 3 or four time daily. Hes afraid he has nothing left in him to be married now. Please help me..

I know lots of people who drink regularly and to excess. Some seem more dependent on alcohol than others in that they seem unwilling or unable to socialise without it. I do worry about some of them. When - and how - could I tell them of my fears?

Once you have had a seizure, for how long will the EEG indicate an intraictal area. Will this stay this way forever - even if you never have another seizure? Or, will the area of the brain return to normal? What are the parameters of time that an EEG can indicate a seizure occured?

I think my husband has narcolepsy. It's unbelievable. After about 1 minute in the car, 5 minutes into a movie, just sitting there talking I'll turn to him (after like 30 seconds) and he's out. He would be totally awake before too. I get so frustrated and impatient. At first I thought he was just tired out or stressed. But even when we're having fun, eating dinner, or he's gotten LOTS of sleep already he'll just pass out. It's sudden too. His head just flops over and he's asleep. And he doesnt remember it either. In fact, a lot of times he thinks I'm lying about it! It's gotten too embarassing to deal with, and I think he might need a doctor. He fell asleep at dinner at a friend's house! The problem is, if he's diagnosed no one will hire him. He won't be able to drive or do most things (even if it doesnt affect him in those situations). Does anyone know about this?? What can I do??

Since half a year ago, I stopped having meat for dinner, say after 5pm. The reason is I don't seem to be able to digest meat after that hour. Trial and error along the way, and I realise that food like bread, fish, and soluble foods are fine, but not for chicken, beef or fruits like jackfruit etc. If I do consume the latter after that hour, I get gastric reflux which I developed years ago. Can anyone identify and relate with the same condition as mine? Someone told me it's got to do with my intestines and it's cancer leading.

And I had 100mg of doxyclycline for 10 days. I had the bulls-eye rash and everything. What are the chances of developing lyme disease? Was that a proper prescription or should I have been on it longer?

Hi! I'm fourteen and a freshman in highschool in Los Angeles. I was wondering about surgery. I am having surgery on Sept.7 which is during the high school school scheldule and I will be missing about a week or two from school.

I know this is a little weird but I was wondering if I should ask people to come visit me or is it like the person's obligation to come if It tell them.

Shouldn't they ask me at all when and what time if they can come or am i supposed to tell them

This is my first surgery so i don't know the specifics.

I know I should focus on somethings other than these stupid details. But when I just think about surgery, I can't so I just focus on this.

I gotta keep on laughing and focusing on these stupid things from crying.

Wish me luck

They have done away with Thimerisol in nearly all other childhood vaccines. If Thimerisol is suspect as a possible cause or contributing factor to the increced incidence of autism - why can't they just do a better job of chilling the MMR and distributing it so it sits on the shelf for a shorter time on average?
