its called 'gastritis' does anyone experinced or experincing this type of stomach problem? i heard it occur cuz of heavy drinking and eating spicy food or delay of the food. i used to be heavy drinker thats what caused my stomach lining to be inflamed, i been on prescription medicine such as pepcid and prilosec, its been 3 years since i have gastritis now i am only taking prilosec in the morning. i used to get heartburn but not anymore (touchwood). but the inflammation on my stomach lining is still present, perhapes little better than before but its not completely healed, i dont drink alcohol, dont smoke, dont eat too spicy then why my gastritis is taking too long to heal? i mean does it usualy take years or does it ever heal? one of my gastrontrology told me that it will heal but will take time and i should avoid eating/drinking acidic stuff. anyway this is one of the most common digestive problem among men and women now days. so does anyone else suffering from this common disease?

I am 30 years old. 3 weeks ago went to Tiajuana, 2 days after returning became very ill. Violent diahrrea, stomach cramps, low-grade fever etc. Took antibiotics (Cypro) for 5 days and finished them. Today (20 days later) I still have abdominal pain (now on the lower right side of stomach that comes and goes), cramping, fatigue, diahrrea comes and goes, changes in stool, can only eat watered down soup and crackers. If I try to eat anything else become miserable. Waiting on the results of parasite infection test. When would I need to seek emergency help? Any idea what type of parasidic infection would cause above symptoms? I do have stomach problems (for the past 8 years) take aciphex and zantac daily. Never before have had lactose intollerance either. Any ideas or advice would be great.

I am just entering high school and there are so many stresses and pressures and I am struggling with Bulimia. I am trying to get through it and I just wanted to know what the best way to tell my family/friends would be. I don't want them to freak out when I tell them I just want them to understand that I need help. What should I do?

I have been diagnozed with PD last August. My life is changing drastically as a result of that, I am very conscious of my bradykinesia (slow movement) of my left arm, and I get anxious thinkinng my time is borrowed and I need to accomplish as much as possible.

My stomach and intestines on the insides feel as they are getting ate up. It is not cramping or sharp pain, just a very odd weird, chewy, (hard to explain uncomfortable feeling inside). This is been going on for weeks. I have no appetite, I am dead tired, food makes me gag to even taste it, sometimes the only way I feel better is to make myself vomit. Then for maybe an hour the pain goes away. I am not pregnant, no blood or any common explanation. I am curious if anybody has any experience with human parasites or worms infestations. Please do not be rude or gross it is seriously freaking me out. And I am at a complete loss on what to do.

I have had low b12 counts for the past 2 yrs; as low as 170 or going up to 250 while taking an oral supplment. My HB count is around 11.5. My GP feels the lack of red meat in my diet is to blame; but im a huge veggie eater&eat chicken&fish. My symptoms are extreme tiredness, a lack of energy, although i go to the gym twice a week, but he is maintaining me on the oral supplement because of the reasonable HB count. I have a tendency to mouth ulcers and sores on my tongue; plus pins and needles in my left arm&fingers&sometimes my right.
