many people have white arc-like colour on the base of their fingernails{thumbs},i dont have.is it ok/anyproblm

They are called half- moons. Some have them on all fingernails, others on some and others, none. It is o.k. No problem.

I only have this white arc-like color on the base of my thumbs and my husband and kids don't have any at all. Seems to be an OK thing!

It is ok. You have no problem. I have it on my thumbs but no other fingers. It is genetic how you have it.
