Many times, a high alkaline phosphatase in an infant means nothing and no cause is found. It often just corrects on its own. Outside of further testing, there is no way to know if there is another reason for the level. Do not worry about it until or unless you are given a reason after further testing since it could mean nothing. I would be far more concerned if your baby was exhibiting health issues but, from what you've said, your baby is doing well.
