For the past 2 days i've had on and off flu symptoms. when i came home from school on Tuesday my back and thighs ached so bad all i did was lie on the couch for several hours with a heating pad, sleeping. i had a slight hallucination during that time period too, creepy iknow. i keep going up and down from a 101.1 fever, and i still feel aches in my back and very fatigued. ive missed 2 days of school already. when i wake up my throat is very sore. are these flu symptoms--my doctor said i probably only have a virus cuz peoplewith the flu usually are worse off then me. should i stay out of school again tommorow or suck it up?

But to complicate things my husband developed pneumonia, my daughter an ear infection and myself a lyhphnode infection. I was wondering what the possible causes are, my lymphnodes on my head swelled so bad that one was the length of my finger, we have all been to the doctor and been prescribed antobiotics. I just want us to be healthy agian, does anyone have any idea what could be going on? We have been sick for more than two weeks? Any advice would begreatly appreciated.

My friend has tuberculosis. For such a long time, she used to sneeze and cough. She thought it was just cold running nose. The doctor said that she had tuberculosis for such a long time. Now, the doctors want to check all of her family to see if they cought the disease too.

Is tuberculosis related to HIV? My friend is virgin by the way.

Alright, this is a bit gross...but I need some answers. So, I had a bit of the stomach flu on Monday night and threw up about 12 times full fledge in the next 15 or so hours.

I went back to school on Wed, and in first hour I had a pounding headache and I felt a bit woozie. After getting diarea in the middle of class, I went home. When I got home I began to throw up about once an hour whenever I ate, but it was only small amounts.

I am pretty much freshly renewed today, but after eating lunch, I threw up a small amount a few times. Almost as if I was slowly rejecting it. Im still doing it now.

I went home...and now my mom is talking about taking me to the doctors. I think she things Its a bit more serious than it is, and I also think I probably could have made it through the day.

What do you think?

Hi! I was diagnosed with H. Pylori infection last year. I was put on strong antibiotics for 2 weeks and then I felt better. About 6 months ago I had the exact same symptoms. My doctor didn't do any kind of bloodwork to see if the H. Pylori was still in my system. Instead he put me on 2 more weeks of antibiotics. I am know having the same symtoms. How long will the H.Pylori infection stay??

I have a problem understanding why AIDS is such a problem in Africa and I hope someone can explain why it is such a problem. Everyone has been taught that condoms help prevent AIDS, I know billions of dollars have been sent to Africa to solve the AIDS problem, why aren't condoms being purchased with all of that money and why aren't they being taught about how to prevent AIDS, I am sure that there has been enough money shipped there to do this, and if condoms are being purchased for them then why aren't they using them? If they aren't using them than the problems of AIDS will never go away, so why is so much money still poured into that country if nothing is going to fix it, I don't mean to sound heartless, I just want to understand why this continues to be a problem when it could of been solved already before all of those people suffered and died?Thanks in advance

No more than 4 spots on her body, no temperature and she felt well enough in herself - the doctor confirmed she had CP then.
This week she's come out in loads of spots all over - to me they look like CP - surely she can't get them again can she? And so soon after the first time? She's had no temperature and feels well enough but says the spots are itching. I've done the usual - Calamine Lotion etc.

I was infected by Amebiasis about 18 month ago, I was treated in the hospital and after the treatment, follow-up with a stool analysis, the result was negative.
Since that, I got a strong constipation, and I was treated also, currently, I feet that my intestines is very sensitive (specially from spices).
Is the effect of having Amebiasis is permanent or it will go after some time.

i have been detected with hpv virus & i never had sex with anyone other than my husband & he too never did it.i am confused how it happened but yes i had kissed 3 people in past before my husband & those were my mistakes of life & i have regrated about it.i had a friend in hostel who is also girl,we did some touching & kissing each other.some relatives had taken undue advantage of me in childhood but i never had sex (intercourse)as such.can all these things cause hpv to me?what do u think.pls help me

I think I have the stomach flu because I had diarrhea last night and I couldnt stop vomiting. I would even vomit when i drank water. I stopped vomiting today but now, everytime I cough, my body starts to hurt because i have a lot of mucus in my stomach/throat. How can I get rid of it? I blow my nose but it doesn't really come out. I can feel it in my throat and my stomach.
