My 2 year old daughter has been vomiting for a week now. She has been to the doctors once and in the ER twice. Once she was dehydrated and the second time i thought she was bc she didn't pee for 24 hours however she wasn't. They checked her blood and urine and came to the conclusion that she has a virus and there is nothing further they can do. She vomits everytime she eats anything (which is hardly ever) or drinks in bulk (more then an ounce an hour). I was wondering if this is normal or should I take her back to the ER... basically is it normal for a virus to take this long!??!?!?!?

Any answers would be appreciated... thanks!

My 2 year old was playing with her 8 month old cousin yesterday pretty much all day. Her cousin was acting fussy, loss of appetite, and had an on and off again fever. Well, the parents took her into her pediatrician who said that she had strep throat. I'm wondering how likey it is that my 2 year old will get it? They play with the same toys and the 8 month old is at the drooly stage...so I'm thinking pretty likey huh? Anything I can do to try to prevent it, or is it too late?

My Nanna had hep A while she was pregnant with my mum. My mum, sister and I all have Gilberts syndrome. Could this be as a result of my Nanna having hep A whilst pregnant with my mum or is it just genetic. Was the virus past to my mum and could she have past it to my sister and I?
