Watery eyes can be caused by a number of conditions. The itching, however, indicates this may be an allergy! Even if you have been exposed to something all your life without a reaction, you can still develop an allergy to it.

Do you have household pets? Do they get on the bed? Is your bed near a window with curtains that may be dusty or mildewed (you don't have to see the dust or mildew)? Is your mattress old or new? Are your pillows made foam or feathers? Are they old or new? Do you have a ceiling fan with dusty blades? Do you use a floor fan with dusty blades? What sort of laundry detergent do you use?

You may have to explore each of the above, and even more, possibilities one at a time to determine if this is an allergic reaction and what it is to. Good luck!

It could be a mild form of conjunctivitis or partially blocked tear ducts. If it's the former, try bathing your eyes in warm, salty water (saline), at least twice a day (especially at night and when you wake up in the morning). This should clean the infection within seven to ten days. If it doesn't clear, you will need to consult your GP.
