My family always warmed up olive oil and put it in the ears. Then they put in a cotton ball. The next day the ears always felt better.
Of course I can only tell you that this worked for us, and that most infections require antibiotics. So unless you have a MD in the family - chances are home remedies aren't the best way to go.

Sorry, but there are really not any good remedy for ear infections at home. I know, I tried everything to get the pain to subside. You shoud SEE THE DOCTOR or E.R. TECH asap. For mine he put an earwick in and gave me some ear drops. that worked... But because i am also a big fan of medical home remedy, i left it without medical attention for a week and which case allowed my ear canal to COMPLETELY SWELL SHUT. Hurt like hell so much that I finally couldn't take the pain anymore and told my father who had my mom take me to the E.R. because no doctor office was open it was during the week but after office hours. Yes the earwick hurts especially if ur ear ends up like mine did... but that's only to help drain the infection and the ear drops they give u clear it up. If they don't then you should go back to a doctor and let them know.

Warm a few drops of baby oil on a spoon let cool a bit, pour into ear and follow with a piece of cotton into the ear. Sleep on the ear to keep warm and take a couple of aspirins or tylenol. Most ear infections turn out to be just an ear ache. I have never taken an antibiotic for an ear ache nor my child, as she was growing up, she is 24 now and still uses this same technique as my whole family has for generations

Add a couple of drops of either Chamomile or Lavender to a bowl of warm water. Then using a small towel or cloth soaked in the warm water as a compress, place over the ear to draw out the infection.

You need to see a doctor there is nothing you can really do to help that you need some ear drops and antibiotics for that. And if not cleared up you can loose your hearing or worse.

I'm afraid not. It''s best to go see a physcian so she can prescribe ears drops or an antibiotic. And DO NOT go putting things in your ear! You'll regret it, trust me.

Put honey in your ear. Let it sit for about 5 minutes. It really does help.

I think you should go to the doctor and get him to prescribe an antibiotic.
