it is common after surgery to have a low grade fever. Just take some tylenol and keep drinking fluids, also keep moving about, don't just flop on the bed, or you could develop pnuemonia. Keep checking your temp, if it goes over 101, that would be the time to call the doctor.

I am guessing you probably had the surgery on an outpatient basis and I am sure they sent you home with all the instructions of staying active and keeping an eye on your temperature. But I am sure it has been difficut for you to stay active especially if you have family and/or friends around to help you. Staying active will keep fluid from buiding up in your lungs and causing phenomia. A fever is always a sign of something but when you combine it with feeling sick to your stomach. I would say call your dr. and let him know, go over your release papers and see what they say about a fever. The fever alone is most likely from the surgery itself because your body naturally fights off infection anytime you have anything evasive; the fever is the sign that there is an infection but that is common with surgery but the stomach ache is not. Call your dr. stay active atlease sit up most of the day and good luck.
BTW you will not be able to eat greasy food anymore unless you want to spend time in the bathroom after each meal. You need to add atleast 3 fruits into your diet every day to stay regular.

You are fine. It is totally normal to run a low grade fever for a few days after surgery.

Yes you should be worried as it is not normal to feel the way you are feeling. You need to go and have some blood tests done if there is no obvious sign of infection. A stiff neck with headache and fever is of concern and you should see your doctor.
