Can largentis or similar throat ailments take more then 4 to 5 days to show symptons in a person?

I came into contact weekend before last with one of my bosses. She had largentise. But tonight my throats really really sore, is it possible its nothing, or that it just takes time for the virus to show up?

laryngitis is mostly viral and yes it can take 4-5 days to show up after exposure, just do warm water gargles for starters and see a doctor if it persists or worsens, good luck
