Does anyone know what to look out for? Anyone had mild-serious experience with this?

No one on here knows anyone who knows anything about west nile????

The truth is that most people have no symptoms at all! However, about 20% of those who get the virus will go on to get west nile fever and that is when they develop symptoms. Those symptoms include:
fever
swollen glands
nausea
vomiting
headache
muscle aches
lack of appetite
rash
